About Bayes Achievement Center

In 1991, Bayes Achievement Center, Inc. was born out of the in-home training community services program. BAC became incorporated in 1993 and soon opened its therapeutic foster group home in June 1994. BAC then became licensed as a Residential Treatment Center on September 1, 1995. On August 25, 1997, BAC was approved by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) as a non-public school. Most recently, BAC was accredited through the Council on Accreditation (COA) of Children and Family Services signifying that BAC meets the nationally and internationally approved standards of best practice. BAC has a three-phase continuum program, which includes prevention services, residential services and transition services. BAC works in conjunction with school districts, Mental Health and Mental Retardation Authorities, private agencies and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
